Besiktas will look to hold on to their narrow advantage when they take on Danish side Midtjylland away from home in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round on July 30.
The Turkish club heads into the match with a 1-0 lead after winning the opening leg at home. Any victory or draw in Denmark will be enough for Besiktas to go through to the third qualifying round.
The match will kick off at 8 p.m. Türkiye time at MCH Arena and will be broadcast live on S Sport. English referee John Brooks will oversee the game, with Neil Davies and Nick Greenhalgh serving as his assistants.
Besiktas will qualify directly if they avoid defeat, while any Midtjylland victory by a single goal would level the aggregate score and send the tie into extra time.
Midtjylland must win by at least two goals to knock Besiktas out and move on to the next stage of the competition.
Besiktas will be without three players for the decisive match.
Leandro Trossard remains on leave, Felix Uduokhai is suspended after receiving a red card, and Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
The UEFA squad submitted by Besiktas includes Alexander Nubel, Dogan Alemdar, Ridvan Yilmaz, Tiago Djalo, Orkun Kokcu, Milot Rashica, Vaclav Cerny, Hyeon-Gyu Oh, and Semih Kilicsoy.
Should Besiktas knock out Midtjylland, they will face the winner of the tie between Czech side Hradec Kralove and Norway's Tromso in the Europa League third qualifying round.
Hradec Kralove carry a 1-0 advantage into their home second leg after winning the opening match in Norway.
If Besiktas are eliminated by Midtjylland, their European campaign will continue in the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round.
In that case, the Istanbul club will take on the winner of the tie between Ireland's Bohemian and Kosovo's Ballkani.
