Besiktas tops Malmo 2-1 in UEFA Europa League, strengthens position in group
Türkiye’s Besiktas secured a 2-1 victory over Malmo in the 4th round of the UEFA Europa League at Tupras Stadium on Tuesday.
This win follows their impressive 1-0 away victory over Lyon and comes after earlier losses to Ajax and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The goals for Besiktas came courtesy of Muci (76’) and Semih Kilicsoy (85’), while Malmo’s sole goal was scored by Rieks in injury time (90+3’).
With this win, Besiktas boosted their total points to 6, while Malmo stayed at 4 points in the group standings.
