Following the high-profile signing of Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich, Galatasaray faces a new challenge in their pursuit of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, as Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly pressures Al-Nassr to retain Silva.
The Istanbul-based club, aiming for their 26th Super Lig title and European success, signed Sane on a three-year deal and is now leveraging their direct qualification to this season’s UEFA Champions League to attract Silva.
Reports indicate Ronaldo, Silva’s compatriot, has contacted the player and exerted influence on Al-Nassr’s management to block the transfer.
Meanwhile, Silva’s agent, George Gardi, is in talks with Galatasaray about the midfielder’s potential move.
