Turkish volleyball powerhouse Eczacibasi Dynavit has announced the departure of national team outside hitter Hande Baladin, marking the end of an era for both the club and the player.

Baladin, a formidable and consistent presence on the court, joined Eczacibasi as a youth player and spent over a decade with the club. In a statement, the club expressed heartfelt gratitude to the 27-year-old, saying, “She joined our family as a child and has contributed immensely with her passion and dedication over the years. We thank Hande for everything she brought to our club.”

To commemorate her departure, Eczacibasi released an emotional farewell video highlighting her journey and achievements.

Decorated career

During her time with Eczacibasi, Baladin helped the team win six major trophies: two FIVB Club World Championships, two CEV Cups, and two Turkish Super Cups.

She also played in four major finals, including three in the Turkish Sultanlar League and one in the CEV Champions League.

Baladin had loan spells at Sariyer Belediyespor during the 2014–15 season and at Galatasaray in 2018–19.
