The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has referred Ederson Moraes to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) on two separate charges following his red card in the recent Galatasaray derby, according to an official statement.

Dual charges follow derby incident and disciplinary review

The federation’s legal department moved to send the Brazilian goalkeeper to the disciplinary board under two different provisions of the Football Disciplinary Regulations.

He was cited for “insult” under Article 41 and for “unsportsmanlike conduct” under Article 36, both with precautionary measures applied as the case proceeds.

Wider disciplinary action highlights multiple club referrals

The same announcement also outlined a broader set of disciplinary actions across the league, showing that the derby was not the only fixture under scrutiny.

Kayserispor were referred on five separate counts, while Galatasaray faced three. Both Fenerbahce and Besiktas were each sent to the board over one violation.
