According to Turkish media, Marseille, Lyon, and Bologna are among the clubs interested in signing Yusuf Akcicek. Marseille has made the most concrete move so far, with its president, Pablo Longoria, traveling to Istanbul to meet directly with Fenerbahce’s chairman, Ali Koc.
During the meeting, Marseille reportedly made a verbal offer of €19 million ($21.37 million) for Yusuf Akcicek. However, Fenerbahce is demanding at least €25 million. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, and Yusuf is said to be eager to take the next step in his career by moving to Europe.
