Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are set to clash in the Turkcell Super Cup at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The match, originally scheduled for 20:30, has been moved to 18:45 due to adverse weather conditions and will be broadcast live on ATV.
Fenerbahce will face the final without several key players. Fred Rodrigues is suspended, while Archie Brown, Edson Alvarez and Nelson Semedo are sidelined due to injuries. The availability of Anderson Talisca will be confirmed ahead of kick-off. National team players Dorgeles Nene and Youssef En-Nesyri will also be absent.
Despite these absences, new signings Anthony Musaba and Matteo Guendouzi, along with returning goalkeeper Mert Gunok, are expected to be included in the squad. Guendouzi’s participation will be finalized after the team’s final training session.
Galatasaray will be without Victor Osimhen and Ismail Jakobs, who are participating in the Africa Cup of Nations. The club, which holds the record for the most Super Cup titles, will aim to secure its eighth Super Cup victory.
Fenerbahce reached the final by defeating Samsunspor 2-0 in the semi-final, while Galatasaray advanced with a 4-1 victory over Trabzonspor. The two clubs have a rich history in the competition, with Fenerbahce’s most recent Super Cup triumph occurring in 2014, when they defeated Galatasaray on penalties.
