Fenerbahce Beko will take to the court today with a chance to secure its place in the EuroLeague Final Four, as the Turkish side faces Lithuania’s Zalgiris in Game 3 of their playoff series.
The matchup will be played at Zalgirio Arena, with tip-off scheduled for 20:00 local time (TSI). The EuroLeague playoffs, a best-of-five series, require three wins for a team to advance to the Final Four—the competition’s season-ending stage featuring the last four teams.
Fenerbahce Beko heads into the game with a 2-0 lead in the series, having made the most of its home-court advantage in the opening two games.
The defending champions of the EuroLeague finished the regular season with 24 wins and 14 losses, placing fourth overall through point differential. This standing matched them with Zalgiris in the playoff round.
Carrying that momentum forward, the Istanbul-based team has so far managed to keep control of the series, putting itself within reach of an early qualification.
A win in Game 3 would see Fenerbahce Beko close out the series 3-0 and book its spot in the Final Four without the need for additional games.
If necessary, Game 4 is scheduled to take place in Lithuania on May 8, while a potential Game 5 would return to Istanbul on May 12.
