Fenerbahce Beko, champions of the EuroLeague, Türkiye Super League, and Türkiye Cup, have announced the signing of Finnish forward Mikael Jantunen on a two-year deal.
Jantunen, 25, joins the Turkish powerhouse after two seasons with Paris Basketball. He averaged 7.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1 assist in 38 EuroLeague appearances last season.
The move marks Fenerbahce’s first transfer of the summer as the club begins to reshape its roster for the 2024–25 campaign.
Jantunen started his professional career with HBA Marksy in Finland before playing two seasons in the NCAA for the University of Utah. He later spent time with Belgian side Oostende and Italy’s Treviso Basket.
His contract with Paris expired this summer, allowing him to join Fenerbahce as a free agent.
Fenerbahce Beko is expected to make further additions as it looks to build on a successful season in both domestic and international competitions.
