Fenerbahce Beko to host Anadolu Efes in Super League semifinal opener

Fenerbahce Beko will host Anadolu Efes in the opening game of their Turkish Basketball Super League play-off semifinal series, bringing together two of the leading teams in domestic basketball.

The game will be played at Ulker Sports and Event Hall, Fenerbahce’s home arena in Istanbul, and is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. local time.

Fenerbahce head into semifinals after finishing regular season on top

Fenerbahce Beko reached the semifinal stage after finishing the regular season at the top of the standings and moving past Safiport Erokspor in the quarterfinals.

The yellow-and-navy team will now look to make use of home-court advantage as the series gets underway in Istanbul.

Anadolu Efes set up major semifinal after beating Turk Telekom

Anadolu Efes, who ended the regular season in fourth place, booked its place in the semifinals by beating Turk Telekom in the quarterfinal round.

Their meeting with Fenerbahce brings together two of the most prominent names in Turkish basketball, with both sides now trying to move one step closer to the domestic title.

The semifinal series will be decided by the first team to win three games. The winner will move on to the final, where it will face the team that comes out on top in the Besiktas GAIN-Bahcesehir Koleji series.
