Fenerbahce, champion of Türkiye's Basketball Super League and the Turkish Cup this season, will face Besiktas, the runner-up in both competitions, in the Men's Presidential Cup final.
The match is scheduled for 08:00 p.m. local time (05:00 p.m. GMT) on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, an indoor arena in Istanbul.
Referees Ozlem Yalman, Alper Altug Koselerli and Kaan Buyukcil will officiate. The match will be broadcast live on TRT 1.
This is the second Presidential Cup meeting between the two clubs. In their previous encounter, played on Sept. 24, 2025, at the same venue, Fenerbahce defeated Besiktas 85-83 to win the title.
Fenerbahce has won the Presidential Cup eight times, most recently in 2025. Its first title came in 1990 with a 95-86 win over Galatasaray, followed by titles in 1991 and 1994.
After a 13-year gap, Fenerbahce returned to the top by beating Anadolu Efes 79-77 in 2007, then added further titles in 2013, 2016 and 2017. The club has finished runner-up 11 times.
Besiktas has won the Presidential Cup once, defeating Anadolu Efes 77-75 on Sept. 30, 2012. The club has also finished runner-up twice, losing to Karsiyaka in 1987 and to Fenerbahce in 2025.
Anadolu Efes holds the record for most Presidential Cup titles, with 14 championships won between 1986 and 2024, nine of them under the club's earlier name, Efes Pilsen.
Ulkerspor ranks second with six titles, including a run of five consecutive championships from 2001 to 2005—the only team to do so.
Since the tournament's founding in 1985, Galatasaray, Pinar Karsiyaka and Turk Telekom have each won twice, while Eczacibasi, Cukurova and TOFAS have won once each.
The Presidential Cup was not held in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2023 because of earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras, a city in southeastern Türkiye.
