Fenerbahce defeated Germany's Stuttgart 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League's third week at Chobani Stadium.

The only goal of the match came in the 34th minute from a penalty kick converted by Kerem Akturkoglu, securing the 1-0 victory for Fenerbahce.

The game featured several high-stakes moments. In the 48th minute, Stuttgart's attack nearly resulted in a goal when Mittelstadt crossed the ball to Bouanani, whose shot was blocked by a sliding intervention from Fenerbahce's Alvarez.

Two separate penalty decisions by referee Jakob Kehlet were overturned following Video Assistant Referee (VAR) reviews.

In the 60th minute, a penalty awarded to Fenerbahce after Nene went down in the box was canceled for offside. Six minutes later, a penalty given to Stuttgart after Stiller was fouled was also overturned by Kehlet after viewing the play again on the pitch-side monitor.

Stuttgart made a final push in the 82nd minute, but Deniz Undav's shot off a pass from Tomas went wide of the goal.

The match saw an accumulation of yellow cards, with six given to Fenerbahce players—Alvarez, Semedo, Oosterwolde, Skriniar, Duran, and Ismail Yuksek—and three to Stuttgart players: El Khannouss, Stiller, and Deniz Undav.
