Türkiye's Fenerbahce will face French side Nice in the second round of the UEFA Europa League group stage on Thursday at Chobani Stadium in Istanbul.
The match will kick off at 19:45 local time in Istanbul, with Serbian referee Srdjan Jovanovic in charge, assisted by Uros Stojkovic and Milan Mihajlovic, and Novak Simovic acting as the fourth official.
The Turkish club lost 3-1 away to Dinamo Zagreb in the first round and will now aim to secure their first points of the group campaign in front of their home supporters. Under head coach Domenico Tedesco, Fenerbahce comes into the match with improved domestic form, having recently beaten Antalyaspor 2-0 in the Turkish Super Lig.
Nice opened their Europa League campaign with a 2-1 away defeat to Roma. In domestic competition, the French club has collected 7 points from its first six Ligue 1 matches, placing 12th on goal difference, and now seeks to revive its European run in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce will be without Colombian forward Jhon Duran, who has not been training with the squad and is not expected to feature. However, Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca, who missed the previous Europa League match due to suspension, is available for selection.
He served his one-match ban against Dinamo Zagreb and could return to the starting lineup if chosen by the coaching staff.
