Fenerbahce is on the verge of securing its second major signing of the summer transfer window, as Spain international Marco Asensio nears a move from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to reports from TRT Spor, Fenerbahce and PSG have reached a full agreement for the 28-year-old attacking midfielder. The deal follows the club's earlier acquisition of Colombian striker Jhon Duran, signaling an aggressive recruitment strategy ahead of the new season.
Fenerbahce aims to finalize the transfer within days, with club officials reportedly optimistic about completing all formalities imminently.
Asensio, who began his professional career with Mallorca, rose to prominence at Real Madrid, where he won multiple La Liga and UEFA Champions League titles. After leaving Madrid in 2023, he joined PSG but spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
Over his senior club career, Asensio has made 447 appearances, scoring 87 goals and registering 68 assists.
