Fenerbahce is reportedly preparing a bold move to strengthen its attack, proposing a swap deal involving Youssef En-Nesyri for Santiago Gimenez.
The deal would see the Moroccan striker exchanged for the Mexican forward from Milan, pending approval from coach Jose Mourinho.
Despite En-Nesyri’s strong start in the first three weeks of the Super Lig, Mourinho is said to prefer a different attacking profile. Gimenez, 24, was placed on Milan’s transfer list as he didn’t fit Allegri’s system.
His agility and technical ability inside the box have made him an attractive option for Fenerbahce.

Gimenez joined Milan from Feyenoord last season for €32 million ($37.24 million), but a lack of system fit led to his sale listing. Fenerbahce hopes to use Türkiye’s late transfer window to complete the swap.
Despite the player’s agent claiming Gimenez is “not leaving,” club sources have not ruled out the move. Mourinho’s approval will trigger the formal offer to Milan.
