Fenerbahce has reportedly set its sights on signing Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, as the Turkish club looks to strengthen its attacking line ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report cited by TransferFeed.
The report indicates that Fenerbahce has turned to England, specifically Manchester, as it lines up high-profile additions, with Silva emerging as a primary target.
The 31-year-old Portuguese playmaker, often deployed as an attacking midfielder or “number 10,” a role responsible for creating goal-scoring chances and linking midfield with attack, is seen as a potential centerpiece in the club’s offensive setup.
Interest in Silva is not limited to Türkiye. Clubs from Saudi Arabia and the United States are also reported to be preparing lucrative salary offers. However, the player is said to be leaning toward staying in Europe, which could narrow down his options despite the financial appeal from outside the continent.
Within Europe, FC Barcelona and Juventus have emerged as leading contenders. Juventus is reported to have tabled a formal three-year offer worth €8 million annually.
Fenerbahce is believed to be ready to outbid Juventus financially, potentially offering more attractive personal terms to persuade Silva.
The club may also look to leverage personal connections, as Silva previously played alongside Ederson at Manchester City and shares the Portugal national team setup with Nelson Semedo.
During the 2025/26 season, Silva made 42 appearances across all competitions for Manchester City, recording three goals and five assists. While these numbers remain modest, his overall contribution continues to be tied to his playmaking role and ability to dictate tempo in midfield.
