Fenerbahce’s new football director, Devin Ozek, has begun his role by initiating a high-profile transfer.
As the club aims to start the new season with star signings under head coach Jose Mourinho, Ozek has taken the lead in securing their first target.
According to the Turkish media, Devin Ozek has held discussions with Leroy Sane to understand the player’s contract demands and explore the possibility of a transfer.
Fenerbahce has made an offer for Sane but will not compete with Bayern Munich or Galatasaray, who are also interested in the player.
The club does not plan to increase its wage offer. If Sane accepts the terms, Fenerbahce will proceed with negotiations to complete the transfer.
