Former Liverpool and AC Milan striker Divock Origi, 31, has enrolled in a business program at Harvard University after reportedly retiring from professional football, turning his attention toward business ventures and potential opportunities in the fashion industry.
According to British newspaper The Sun, the Belgian forward has joined the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports program at Harvard Business School, which aims to help professional athletes prepare for careers beyond competitive sports.
The one-term program focuses on equipping participants with practical business knowledge as they prepare to move into new professional fields after their sporting careers.
Origi, who previously played for Liverpool and AC Milan, is reportedly looking to build up his business expertise while exploring opportunities outside football, with a particular interest in the fashion industry.
Alongside his studies, Origi is continuing to develop DLF Sports, a football representation agency he runs with business partner Marvin Willem Ofori.
The agency focuses on player representation, allowing the former striker to remain involved in the football industry while pursuing new business interests.
