German club Eintracht Frankfurt is reportedly seeking at least €80 million ($93.3 million) for the potential transfer of 19-year-old Turkish midfielder Can Uzun, with English Premier League clubs said to be monitoring him closely.
Uzun’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs until the summer of 2029 and does not include a release clause, according to Sky Sport German.
The €80 million valuation would place Uzun among the club’s most expensive players.
Frankfurt previously secured major transfer fees for stars such as Randal Kolo Muani (€95 million to Paris Saint-Germain), Hugo Ekitike (€95 million to Liverpool), and Omar Marmoush (€75 million to Manchester City).
If completed, Uzun’s potential sale would surpass Marmoush’s record fee.
Uzun joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Nurnberg last season for a transfer fee of €11 million, while football transfer market tracker Transfermarkt valued him at €18 million in its latest update after the summer.
Uzun has been a decisive figure for Frankfurt this season, as he contributed either a goal or an assist in every Bundesliga match except against Bayern Munich.
The midfielder also scored his first goal in the UEFA Champions League during Frankfurt’s 5-1 victory over Galatasaray, further raising his profile on the European stage.
Across nine appearances in the Bundesliga, Champions League, and German Cup during the 2025–26 season, Uzun has recorded six goals and four assists.
Although eligible to play for Germany, Uzun chose to represent Türkiye at the senior level.
He made his international debut on March 22, 2024, in a match against Hungary.
Since then, he has earned three caps, most recently being called up by national team coach Vincenzo Montella in June 2025.
