Galatasaray is continuing efforts to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new season and has reportedly turned its attention to a player outside Türkiye's usual transfer circles.
The Istanbul club is said to be closely following Robbie Ure, a forward for IK Sirius, a Swedish club based in Uppsala that competes in the Allsvenskan, Sweden's top division.
According to a report by British outlet The Sun, Galatasaray has begun approaches to sign the 22-year-old Scottish striker.
The report states that IK Sirius is seeking a transfer fee of around 9 million euros ($10.35 million) for the player.
Ure, who came through the Rangers youth academy, has made 49 appearances for IK Sirius this season in the Swedish league.
In those matches, he has scored 31 goals and provided seven assists, for a total of 38 goal involvements.
IK Sirius signed Ure last season from the youth academy of Belgian club Anderlecht for a reported 750,000 euros. His contract with the Swedish club runs until 2029.
