Galatasaray has decided not to consider any offer below €150 million (nearly $174 million) for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, as the club pushes to keep him at the center of its plans for at least one more season, according to Milliyet, a Turkish media outlet.
The club management wants Osimhen to stay with the yellow-red side despite reported interest from major European clubs.
President Dursun Ozbek and Sportif AS Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu are said to be firm on this position, with Galatasaray aiming to shape their new squad structure around the Nigerian forward.
According to the report, keeping Osimhen has become a key priority for the club because the planned team setup will be built around him.
Galatasaray officials reportedly will not take up any bid below €150 million for Osimhen's transfer rights.
If an offer at that level comes in, the club is expected to act in line with Osimhen's decision, rather than move forward on the fee alone.
Osimhen played 33 matches for Galatasaray this season, scoring 22 goals and providing 8 assists.
His performance has strengthened his role in the team and placed him at the center of Galatasaray's planning for the coming season.
