Galatasaray has begun shaping its squad plans after winning the Super Lig title for the fourth consecutive season, with the midfield emerging as a key area for reinforcement ahead of next season.
The Istanbul club has moved forward in line with the list prepared by head coach Okan Buruk, while reports from Italy suggest that Galatasaray is now looking at several Serie A options.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay is the first name on Galatasaray's list. The Italian club, however, does not reportedly plan to sell the Scottish player unless an astronomical offer comes in.
The report also names Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, who was previously considered by Galatasaray during the winter transfer window before the club backed away from the move.
Although Galatasaray is said to still keep Koopmeiners on its list, the report indicates that the Dutch midfielder is not currently being treated as the club's main priority.
Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta is also mentioned as part of Galatasaray's transfer planning, with the report stating that an offer could be made if suitable conditions come together.
