Galatasaray thrills with 3-2 win over Tottenham in UEFA Europa League
Galatasaray secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Tottenham in the 4th week of the UEFA Europa League, taking a significant step toward qualifying for the top 8 in the competition.
The match at RAMS Park saw a spirited performance from Galatasaray, with Yunus Akgun opening the scoring in the 6th minute.
Victor Osimhen added a brace in the 32nd and 39th minutes, while Tottenham responded with goals from Lankshear in the 18th minute and Solanke in the 69th minute.
Lankshear was sent off in the 60th minute after a second yellow card.
Galatasaray now sits on 10 points, while Tottenham remains on 9. Galatasaray’s next match will be against AZ Alkmaar on November 28, while Tottenham will host Roma the same day.
