Former Germany international Jerome Boateng is set to join Trabzonspor's coaching staff as an assistant to head coach Thomas Reis, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.
Trabzonspor has reached an agreement with the 38-year-old former defender, with talks between the two sides reportedly completed.
Boateng, who retired from professional football in 2025, will now take up a role on Reis' technical staff at Trabzonspor, one of Türkiye's major football clubs.
The former defender spent most of his playing career with Bayern Munich and was also part of the Germany squad that lifted the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
His expected arrival at Trabzonspor marks his move into coaching following the end of his playing career.
