Portuguese head coach Jorge Jesus has confirmed that he has received offers from clubs in Türkiye following the conclusion of his stint with Saudi side Al Nassr, where he recently secured a league title.
Speaking after the final match of the season, the 71-year-old manager stated that his future remains open and acknowledged strong interest from Turkish football. Jesus, who previously managed Fenerbahce, suggested that a return to the club is among the possibilities under consideration.
Reflecting on his coaching career, Jesus said: “I have won titles in Portugal and Brazil. I worked at Flamengo, Al Hilal, Fenerbahce and Al Nassr. The only place where I did not win the league was Fenerbahce. Perhaps there is an unfinished story there.”
The Portuguese coach further revealed that more than one Turkish club has approached him, noting that two of the country’s “big three” teams have submitted offers. While he declined to identify the second club, he referred to Türkiye’s leading sides as Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas.
Jesus added that he plans to take a short holiday in Portugal before travelling to Brazil, after which he is expected to make a decision regarding his next managerial appointment.
