Robert Lewandowski has joined the Chicago Fire after leaving Barcelona, with the Major League Soccer (MLS) club confirming the Polish striker has signed a deal through the end of the 2027-28 season.
The Chicago Fire announced that the 37-year-old forward completed his move to the United States following his most recent spell with the Spanish side.
Lewandowski moves to the United States after a career shaped by major spells at Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, where he won several titles and individual awards.
The Polish forward has also built up one of the most prolific scoring records in modern football, with more than 700 goals at club and national team level.
Chicago Fire confirmed the signing as part of its squad plans through the 2027-28 season, bringing in one of the most recognized strikers in world football.
The move marks the next chapter in Lewandowski's career after years in Europe's top leagues, including LaLiga, Spain's top football division, during his time at Barcelona.
