Melissa Vargas delivered a dominant 33-point performance as Türkiye beat Brazil 3-1 in the Volleyball Nations League final, leading the national team to its second title in the competition and earning the Most Valuable Player award.
The star opposite hitter took over the final with her scoring power and played the central role in Türkiye's victory, which added another major international trophy to the team's recent run of success.
After being named MVP of the finals, Vargas summed up the night briefly, saying, "We are champions again. I feel very good."
Vargas emerged as the defining player of the final, finishing with 33 points against a Brazilian side that continued to push back throughout the match.
Her contribution helped Türkiye stay in control and close out the contest in four sets as the team known as the "Sultans of the Net" secured another Volleyball Nations League crown.

Head coach Daniele Santarelli said Türkiye carried out the match plan effectively against a Brazilian team that refused to give up.
He added the players remained focused throughout the final and showed the quality that has kept Türkiye among the world's leading teams over the past four years.
Santarelli also pointed to the team's recent results, including two VNL titles and a European championship, saying that the achievements reflected the work put in by the players and coaching staff.
For Vargas, however, the final belonged to her. With 33 points, an MVP award and another international trophy, she once again came through when Türkiye needed her most.
