Galatasaray has officially announced the acquisition of Dutch winger Noa Lang on a temporary transfer from Italian club Napoli, the Turkish Super Lig side confirmed Thursday.
The 26-year-old Netherlands international joins the Istanbul club on loan for the remainder of the 2025-2026 season. Galatasaray will pay Napoli a loan fee of 2 million euros, while Lang will receive a guaranteed salary of 1.75 million euros for the season, according to the club's official statement.
The agreement includes a non-mandatory purchase option that Galatasaray can exercise at the end of the loan period, though the club did not disclose the financial terms of that clause.
Lang's move comes just six months after Napoli signed him from PSV Eindhoven for 25 million euros on a five-year contract in July 2025. Despite the significant investment, the winger has struggled for playing time under manager Antonio Conte, making 27 appearances across all competitions but scoring just once with two assists.
The Dutch international made 18 Serie A appearances, six Champions League appearances, and featured in both Supercoppa Italiana matches and one Coppa Italia game this season. His limited role in Naples reportedly stemmed from tensions with Conte, with Lang publicly expressing frustration over being benched earlier in the campaign.
Lang brings substantial pedigree to Galatasaray, having won multiple league titles across three countries. The left-footed attacker, who primarily operates on the left wing but can also play as a left midfielder or forward, has collected three Dutch Eredivisie titles with Ajax and PSV, two Belgian Pro League championships with Club Brugge, and the Italian Supercoppa with Napoli.
Over his senior career, Lang has accumulated approximately 232 appearances and 62 goals across all competitions, including productive spells at Club Brugge where he scored 17 goals with 11 assists in the 2020-2021 title-winning season, and at PSV where he netted 19 goals in 63 appearances between 2023 and 2025.
At international level, Lang has earned 15 caps for the Netherlands senior team since his debut in Oct. 2021, scoring three goals. He was part of the Dutch squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and has featured in UEFA Nations League competitions, scoring against Wales and Croatia.
