Galatasaray rocked by injuries

In an official statement, the club confirmed that Osimhen sustained a fracture in his right forearm.

The forward received a blow to the arm during the first half of the match but was able to complete the half. However, due to concerns over a possible fracture, he was withdrawn at halftime and did not feature in the second half.

Subsequent medical examinations conducted in the hospital after the match confirmed the fracture, and his arm was immobilized in a cast. A decision regarding potential surgery will be taken following further medical evaluation in the coming days.

The club also reported that Lang suffered a serious laceration to his right thumb during the encounter. The injury occurred when his hand became trapped between an advertising board and a barrier.

Galatasaray stated that the player will undergo surgery in Liverpool, with the procedure to be carried out under the supervision of the club’s medical team.
