The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will return to Türkiye as part of the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix weekend at TOSFED Istanbul Park from Oct. 1 to 3, bringing three support racing series to the circuit alongside Formula 1.
According to the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), the single-make championship, in which all drivers compete in Porsche racing cars, will join Formula 2 and Formula 3 on the Istanbul race schedule.
The series previously featured Turkish racing driver Ayhancan Guven, who competed in the championship for three seasons.
With the addition of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Türkiye will become one of only five countries hosting Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche support series during the same Formula 1 race weekend in 2027.
Istanbul Park will also host the season-ending races of both Formula 3 and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, adding two championship finales to the Turkish Grand Prix program.
TOSFED President Eren Uclertopragi said the federation was following through on its commitment to improving the spectator experience and would continue working toward that goal.
He welcomed the return of the Porsche series alongside Formula 2 and Formula 3, emphasizing that Istanbul would stage both the F3 and Supercup season finales.
Uclertopragi also invited Turkish motorsport fans and international visitors to Istanbul Park for a weekend featuring multiple racing championships.
