Razgatlioglu finishes 17th in Brazil, completes back-to-back MotoGP results

The 2026 MotoGP World Championship's second round at the Autodromo Ayrton Senna in Goiania, Brazil, saw Prima Pramac Yamaha’s Toprak Razgatlioglu finish 17th, matching his debut result in Thailand the previous week.

Italy's Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia Racing took the victory with a time of 30 minutes, 19.760 seconds, claiming back-to-back wins to open the season after also triumphing at the Thailand Grand Prix, the championship's opening round.

Razgatlioglu, the first Turkish rider to compete in MotoGP and a three-time World Superbike champion, again placed 17th, repeating his result from his March 1 debut in Buriram.

Championship standings after round 2:

  1. Marco Bezzecchi (Italy) — 56 points
  2. Jorge Martin (Spain) — 45 points
  3. Pedro Acosta (Spain) — 42 points
  4. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Italy) — 37 points
  5. Marc Marquez (Spain) — 34 points

The 2026 season continues with the United States Grand Prix on March 29.
