Spanish club Real Madrid has published a special photo series on Turkish international Arda Guler under a “Light” and “Dark” concept. The images appeared on the club’s social media accounts.

The series features aesthetic visuals that refer to Guler’s career path and his presence on the pitch. Each visual follows the contrast set by the two themes.

The final image departs from that concept. It shows Guler as a young child at Saklikent Canyon in Fethiye, a district of Mugla province on Türkiye’s southwestern coast. The photograph has an informal, personal character.

Reaction on social media

The post received thousands of likes and comments quickly and spread widely on social media. Turkish football fans responded positively to the club’s gesture, with many comments expressing pride.
