The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will stage nine medal events across eight disciplines on Feb. 15.
Athletes are set to compete in alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboard and speed skating.
The competitions mark the ninth day of the Winter Games in Italy, where medals will be awarded in both individual and team events. Athletes will also compete in curling, ice hockey, bobsleigh and figure skating events throughout the day.
According to the official schedule, medal contests include the women’s giant slalom in alpine skiing, men’s and women’s biathlon pursuit races, the men’s cross-country relay, freestyle skiing men’s dual moguls, mixed team skeleton, women’s large hill ski jumping, mixed team snowboard cross and women’s 500-meter speed skating.

Turkish athletes continue their Olympic campaign as the Games progress, with several competitors aiming to reach historic milestones.
Türkiye is represented by two athletes in ski jumping for the first time at the Winter Olympics. Fatih Arda Ipcioglu and Muhammed Ali Bedir will compete in the large hill event, seeking their first Olympic final appearance in the discipline.
In the normal hill event earlier in the Games, Ipcioglu recorded a jump of 98.0 meters and finished 44th with 111.1 points, while Bedir placed 48th after a jump of 87.0 meters and 93.1 points.
Both athletes failed to reach the top 30 and did not advance to the final, but they will attempt to improve their results in the large hill competition.
Türkiye will also make its Olympic debut in alpine skiing’s giant slalom event through Thomas Kaan Onol Lang, who represents the country in the discipline for the first time at the Winter Games.
Meanwhile, Turkish cross-country skier Abdullah Yilmaz finished 100th in the men’s 10 km freestyle race with a time of 27:08.3.
