Turkish national racing driver Salih Yoluc won the LMGT3 category at the Sao Paulo 6 Hours, the Brazil round of the World Endurance Championship, also known as WEC.
Yoluc raced for Racing Team Türkiye in the No. 34 car, sharing the seat with Ireland's Charlie Eastwood and Peter Dempsey. The trio crossed the finish line first in the LMGT3 class at the Jose Carlos Pace Circuit in São Paulo.
The Sao Paulo 6 Hours was held on the 4.3-kilometer Jose Carlos Pace Circuit as the fourth round of the championship. Yoluc competed in LMGT3, a grand touring car category within WEC, where drivers share cars over long-distance races.
His victory marked a strong result for Racing Team Türkiye, as the No. 34 car held on to finish ahead of its rivals in the class.
Another Turkish national driver, Ayhancan Guven, also raced in the LMGT3 category. Guven shared Manthey's No. 91 car with Britain's James Cottingham and Russia's Timur Boguslavskiy.
Guven and his teammates finished fourth, giving Turkish motorsport another notable result in the same class.
