Turkish golfer Deniz Sapmaz will represent Türkiye at the 29th Faldo Junior Tour European Grand Final, which is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates from Nov. 18 to 20. The event will be hosted at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club, a large multi-sports complex in Al Ain known for its international golf facilities.
Sapmaz said that taking part in the championship and carrying Türkiye’s flag gives her both pride and motivation, adding that she feels excited and happy to compete in such a prominent junior event.
The European Grand Final will bring together young male and female golfers from 32 countries, gathering a total of 89 athletes. Players will compete across under-16 and under-21 categories, making the tournament one of the key stages for rising golf talent in Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Having earned her place by winning the Junior Dubai Desert Classic, Sapmaz will compete in both the under-16 and under-21 women’s categories. Her qualification places her among a select group of young golfers who secured their spot through earlier international junior tournaments.
Sapmaz’s participation strengthens Türkiye’s footprint in global junior golf, as the country continues to appear in international youth events with growing frequency.
