Turkish motorcycle racer Deniz Oncu is set to compete in the Dutch leg of the Moto2 World Championship, taking place this weekend at the historic TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Representing the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, Oncu will be on the grid from June 27 to 29, aiming to build on his earlier success this season.

Free practice and qualifying ahead of 22-lap showdown

Oncu will begin the race weekend on Friday, June 27, by taking part in the free practice sessions. The following day, he will return to the circuit for the crucial qualifying rounds that will determine the starting order for the main event. The 22-lap race is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 29, at 1:15 p.m. Turkish time.

Looking ahead to the Dutch Grand Prix, Oncu underlined the importance of consistency and performance from the opening session. He remarked, "Our goal is to return home with as many points as possible. We’ve been trying to find the way forward over the past few weeks, so the most important thing is to be competitive from the first session and prepare for the race in the best way to fight at the front."
