Turkish national wrestlers finished the International Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov Tournament in Bulgaria with 23 medals: 6 gold, 6 silver, and 11 bronze.
The three-day competition in Bulgaria featured Turkish athletes in freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling. The Turkish Wrestling Federation confirmed the final results.
Beyzanur Akkus (women's 65 kg) and Enes Basar (Greco-Roman 63 kg) secured Türkiye's first gold medals on the opening day.
Ayse Erkan (women's 68 kg) added another gold on the second day.
Ekrem Ozturk (Greco-Roman 60 kg), Mustafa Safa Yildirim (Greco-Roman 67 kg), and Hakan Buyukcingi (freestyle 125 kg) each won gold on the final day.
On the first day, Muhammet Emin Cakir (Greco-Roman 55 kg), Okan Tahtaci (freestyle 79 kg), and Fatih Altinbas (freestyle 92 kg) each earned silver medals.
Tuba Demir (women's 57 kg), Elmira Yasin (women's 76 kg), and Omer Faruk Cayir (freestyle 74 kg) secured silver medals on the second day.
The bronze medal count was the highest among all categories. Selcuk Can (Greco-Roman 72 kg) earned bronze on the first day.
On the second day, Yusuf Demir (freestyle 57 kg), Emrah Ormanoglu (freestyle 65 kg), Ahmet Duman (freestyle 65 kg), Osman Gocen (freestyle 86 kg), Yunus Emre Basar (Greco-Roman 77 kg), Omer Can Dogan (Greco-Roman 87 kg), and Fatih Bozkurt (Greco-Roman 130 kg) also won bronze medals.
Mustafa Saglam (Greco-Roman 60 kg), Rifat Eren Gidak (freestyle 97 kg), and Zeynep Yetgil (women's 53 kg) completed the bronze medal tally on the final day.
Türkiye had accumulated 17 medals before the final day of competition, with additional successes on the last day increasing the total to 23.
