The Turkish Cycling Federation has unveiled its comprehensive 2026 racing schedule.
The calendar features 103 events, including races, training camps, and various activities across road, track, mountain bike (MTB), BMX, gran fondo, and para-cycling disciplines.
The 2026 season aims to expand the sport’s reach across the country.
Activities will take place in 32 different provinces, supporting athletes from grassroots levels to the elite tier. The schedule is designed to offer competition across varied terrains and technically demanding courses.
The Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye remains the flagship event of the season.
Scheduled for April 26 to May 3, the tour is expected to host several international teams and hold an important place on the global cycling calendar.
Beyond the Presidential Tour, the road racing season includes several major multi-stage and one-day races:
Athletes will also compete in the Türkiye Road Championship in Siirt from June 26–29 and Türkiye Cup points-based road races throughout the year.
Konya continues to serve as the central hub for track cycling in Türkiye.
The Konya Olympic Velodrome already hosted the UEC Elite European Track Cycling Championships in early February, drawing 315 athletes from around 30 countries.
The facility will continue to host national championships, development camps, and national team training programs throughout 2026.
In mountain biking, Sakarya’s Bike Valley will host international eliminator races. Other MTB events are scheduled for cities like Erzurum, Rize, Nevsehir, and Antalya.
Notable international MTB events include the Eliminator World Championship in Afyon on May 10 and the Eliminator World Cup in Sakarya on June 14.
The 2026 calendar includes a wide range of Gran Fondo races aimed at bringing together amateur and professional cyclists in different regions.
Turkish Cycling Federation President Emin Muftuoglu said the sport is gaining a stronger structure each year and that the 2026 calendar aims to improve international competitiveness.
“The 2026 calendar will provide our athletes with international competitive strength,” Muftuoglu said. “We aim to expand our athlete pool through national events and support their development through international races. We believe this calendar will contribute to the sustainable success of Turkish cycling.”
The schedule lays out a year of races, camps, and events that place both athlete development and international competition at the center of the 2026 season.
