Türkiye's national women's volleyball team booked its place in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League final after sweeping host China 3-0 in Saturday's semifinal in Macao.
The Turkish side, widely known as the "Sultans of the Net," took control early at the East Asian Games Dome and did not drop a set, closing out the match 25-21, 25-15 and 25-20.
Türkiye made a strong start by taking the opening set 25-21 before stepping up the pressure in the second, which it wrapped up 25-15.
China attempted to fight back in the third set, but Türkiye held on to its advantage and finished off the contest with a 25-20 win, sealing a straight-sets victory and a place in the championship match.
Türkiye will face Brazil in the final on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Türkiye time.
Brazil became the first team to reach the final after overcoming Italy 3-2 in the other semifinal. The South American side came through a closely contested five-set match, winning the deciding set 15-12.
The result sets up a Türkiye-Brazil showdown for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League title.
