Türkiye falls 3-1 to Montenegro in UEFA Nations League B group finale

Turkish national football team concluded their UEFA Nations League B campaign with a 3-1 loss to Montenegro on Tuesday at Niksic City Stadium.
Montenegro’s Nikola Krstovic netted a hat-trick, scoring in the 29th, 45th, and 73rd minutes, while Türkiye’s only goal came from Kenan Yildiz in the 37th minute.
Meanwhile, this marked Krstovic’s first international hat-trick, leading Montenegro to a win despite finishing last in the group with 3 points.
Türkiye finished second with 11 points, behind Wales.
Türkiye now faces a play-off match against a third-place finisher from League A. The draw for the opponent will take place on Friday, November 22.
