Türkiye to face host China in VNL semifinal

Türkiye's women's national volleyball team will take on host China in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League semifinal in Macao on Saturday, with a place in the final at stake.

The match at the East Asian Games Dome will get underway at 2:30 p.m. Türkiye time and will be broadcast live on S Sport and S Sport Plus.

Türkiye aim to carry strong league form into semifinal

Known as the Sultans of the Net, Türkiye finished the VNL league phase in fourth place after picking up nine victories.

China, meanwhile, ended the league phase in ninth place with six wins but moved into the final stage as the host nation.

Recent record gives Türkiye momentum

Türkiye will look to build on its recent success against China after winning the last three official meetings between the two teams.

A victory in Macao would send the Turkish side through to the VNL final and extend its winning run against the host nation.
