Türkiye completed its final preparations for the international friendly against Venezuela with a training session at the Blue Training Center on Friday, June 5, as the national team continued to build up toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The squad worked through tactical drills and fitness exercises under the supervision of the coaching staff, with the session marking the final stage of preparations before the match.
Türkiye will face Venezuela on June 6 at Inter Miami CF Stadium, a venue in the United States that will host the friendly as part of the team’s pre-tournament schedule.
The match will serve as a final test before Türkiye turns its attention to Group D at the World Cup. The team is scheduled to play Australia on June 13, Paraguay on June 20, and host nation the United States, on June 26.
Unlike its Group D rivals, Türkiye has chosen Mesa, Arizona, as its World Cup base. The team will carry out its camp at a facility equipped with 24 multipurpose training grounds, giving the squad a broad training setup before and during the tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, will begin on June 11 and run through July 19. The tournament will bring together 48 national teams, making it the largest edition in the competition’s history.
