World Cup 2026: Five matches set for busy group-stage day across North America

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, continues its group-stage action with five matches scheduled across Groups C, D, E and F.

One of the most anticipated fixtures comes from Group D, where the Turkish national football team faces Paraguay at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.

Friday's opening match kicks off at 6 a.m. (Türkiye time), with both sides looking to strengthen their position in the group, one of several games on the schedule that day.
