A statement from the Ministry of National Defense confirmed, "The Turkish Armed Forces, which have successfully secured Zap, continue their operations in the region without interruption."

The statement also added, "The 11 PKK terrorists located in northern Iraq were eliminated in the airstrike."

The ministry concluded, "Our fight against terrorist organizations will persist wherever they are until the last terrorist is eliminated."
