The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that 13 PKK terrorists were neutralized in an air operation in northern Iraq.
The statement from the Ministry included the following:
We are making northern Iraq a no-go zone for terrorists. Our brave Turkish Armed Forces have neutralized 13 PKK terrorists identified in the Gara and Haftanin regions through an air operation.

The Ministry’s statement also emphasized: “We will continue our fight with great determination and resolve to rid our noble nation of the scourge of terrorism.”
The PKK/YPG terrorist organization has killed thousands of Turkish citizens since its first attack in Siirt in 1981.
