President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended heartfelt Eid wishes to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Monday as he reached out to world leaders on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Erdogan expressed that the holiday was bittersweet because of the Israeli oppression in Gaza and wished for peace and prosperity for the Islamic world during the holiday.

He congratulated the Malaysian Prime Minister and the entire Malaysian people on Eid al-Adha.

On the first day of the holiday, the President had successive conversations with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
