Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced that the Abdulhamid Han Drilling Ship has been sent off to its new mission in the Black Sea.
Bayraktar stated, "We hope to complete an exploration well in the Black Sea before the end of this year and deliver a promising result to our nation."
Minister Bayraktar emphasized that they have not given up on the Mediterranean, stating, "We do not approach the Mediterranean or Blue Homeland as a fairy tale like some others. The Blue Homeland will be our epic in the seas."
