Iran and Russia signed nine cooperation agreements in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity during the Fifth Joint Communication and Information Technology Cooperation Working Group meeting held in Moscow.
According to Iranian state television, Iranian technology company representatives traveled to Moscow at the official invitation of Russia’s minister of digital development and communications.
Meetings were held between Iranian firms and leading Russian technology companies as part of the working group’s activities.
The sessions were attended by Iran’s Deputy Minister of Communications Meysem Abedi and Russia’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Alexander Shoitov.
The nine agreements, focused on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity cooperation, were signed during these meetings.
Deputy Minister Abedi said the talks and agreements between Iran and Russia would enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors of both countries and create new opportunities.
