Jared Kushner, a former Senior Advisor to the U.S. President and Jewish-American businessman who is also the son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, took to Twitter on Saturday to declare that Sept.27 marks a major turning point in the Middle East.

Kushner emphasized that Israel's efforts to eliminate Hezbollah have been successful, hinting that Israel may soon target Iran’s nuclear facilities.

"Why hasn't Israel destroyed Iran's nuclear sites despite weak air defenses?" Because Hezbollah has posed a direct threat to Israel," he questioned.

He outlined how Hezbollah, supported by Iran, has acted as a deterrent, but with Hezbollah now weakened, Iran is left vulnerable.

Opportunity for regional security and peace: Kushner

Kushner believes that the Middle East's security and peace will strengthen as Iran's regional allies weaken. "As Iran's proxies diminish, countries in the region that seek peace will become more powerful," he said.

He also suggested that these developments could create opportunities for cooperation between Israel and other countries in the region.

Kushner remarked that Israel has largely eliminated threats from Gaza and now has the opportunity to dismantle Hezbollah in the north.

"Israel has the chance to finish the job and completely dismantle the threat from Hezbollah," he stated, emphasizing the importance of taking action to ensure long-term security for the region.

Kushner urged the U.S. to support Israel in this critical phase, stating that it’s not just Israel’s fight but one that affects the entire region.

"This is not only Israel’s battle but one that benefits the whole region," he concluded.
