At least 10 people were taken to hospitals after a shooting at a party near a lake outside Oklahoma City, The Associated Press (AP) reported, citing police.
Authorities received multiple reports of shots being fired at about 9 p.m. Sunday during a gathering of young people near Arcadia Lake in Edmond, Oklahoma, according to Edmond police spokesperson Emily Ward, AP reported.
Ward said the victims were in “various conditions.”
In addition to the 10 people taken to hospitals, more people may have driven themselves for medical treatment.
“We’re kind of all over the metro speaking with victims and witnesses,” Ward said.
Witnesses reported seeing two men flee the scene.
The suspects remained at large, but Ward said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
